  • Condition: Antique, Circa 1920s previously displayed condition. Extremely rare 10" Pair of dolls in MINT conditon. Collected by a serious doll collector. Exquisitely handmade hand painted faces, elaborate handmade clothing, basket (girl) outfits, underskirt, shoes woven, real fur details (boy) accordian handmade, etc. FABULOUS! LAVISH original pair of antique Russian/Prussian dolls!. Bothe/each is one of a kind! I am liquidating a three generation estate of fine items - one member of the estate was a serious doll collector. Being sold in "as is and as found" condition and not returnable. Mint condition - held in cedar closet for many, many years untouched wrapped in flannel cloth!     This spectacular lot of 2 handmade Russian/Prussia antique dolls are extremely rare! Beautifully handmade originals by a premier doll maker in Russia/Prussia long ago. Both are extremely rare...simply gorgeous. I believe they were made Circa 1920s and brought over to this country many years ago when the family travelled then to Russia to visit relatives. Kept wrapped in flannel cloth for many decades...never displayed nor played with as too good and too rare! The workmanship is exquisite, fine details in clothing iconic clothing with fine details, fur, fine fabrics, hair handmade/detailed, accordian handmade plus carrying basket, etc. Fabulous folk art from Russia/Prussia. Lavish handmade details. The faces are handpainted beautifully with wonderful expressions! Not sure what the heads are made of but the bodies are cloth and hard. You can move a bit the feet and hands. This pair of rare dolls were held by long time serious doll collector. The former collector of fine dolls had beautiful examples of fine rare dolls..she travelled all over the world in pursuit of her collection.  Please see photos, and ask questions as it is being sold in "as is and as found condition" and not returnable.
