    Description:
    These authentic Matryoshka Russian nesting dolls feature a winter scene with horse drawn sleigh and snow covered cabins.  Hand painted with intricate detailing using vivid colors and gold trim, then sealed with a lacquer finish.  Painted on native Lime wood.  The largest doll is made to fit extremely tight and must be opened and closed with a push/pull and a turn.  The wood lets out a distinctive "squeak" upon opening and closing.  The largest doll is signed on the base with the artist's name.
