Fedoskino lacquer box with landscape scene signed by artist

Description

This box depicts a landscape scene consisting of a road in the snow leading to a town with a church and houses.
It is the Russian lacquer in the Fedoskino traditional artwork.
The painted scene is on top.
The rest of the box is black lacquer with gold tracery all the way around.
The box is hinged and the interior is red.
It's signed in gold, on the top, in the lower left and lower right side.
Fedoskino is handwritten on the lower left corner of the lid.
The artist whose initials are AK has signed the lower right corner of the lid.
The overall condition is very good with no cracks, chips or abrasions.
It measures about 4 1/2” x 3 5/8” x 1 5/8”.
