One-of-a-Kind Poncho, Made of Vintage Mossi Indigo, Burkina Faso

Fun to wear, top/poncho made with a vintage, medium weight, light blue textile, from Burkina Faso. I have had several of these made in
Africa, and each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind, some with patches, and a variety of fabrics used.
This one has striped patches from Mali indigos, placed on a medium blue Mossi textile. The Mossi works are highly collectible, and loved by both collectors as well as the African owners and families for their fine, soft, and tight weaving, and for the way they beautifully fade over the years of washing and use, from darker blue to patterns of lines, squares, and “plaid"  from the various thread colors originally used.
33” x 78”; 9 hand woven cotton strips.
Very good condition; washed and clean; raw edges on  ends; fringe on one half only. Textiles used in these pieces are old, and have been worn as wrappers before being made into the tops, so some may be a few minor “imperfections”, or maybe some repaired holes/flaws. However, many people prefer and/or appreciate the “wear” on some pieces, since they show the age, origin, and use of the older cloths. The
