    Description

    Russian Lacquer Miniature Trinket Box
    Beautiful hand painted hinged box by master artist S. Zotov titled "Resting in the Hay".  This was purchased in August 2000 from a shop on a cruise ship.  The box was presented by the Russian National Museum to the Ships Store.  It is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks, or scratches.  It measures 2 7/8" x 1 3/4" and is 1 1/4" high.  It is signed Fedoskino 2000 on one corner of the box and S. Zotov on the other.
