    Description

    Offering a stunning blue on white hand painted fine porcelain plate from Russia. I do not know if this is from Ghzel or Gjel but it is signed and there are Russian words painted on it.
    The plate measures 12.5" in diameter and has a scalloped rim which is duplicated in the base providing a stand that elevates the plate.
    The subject matter maybe be a Russian fairy tale or some folklore or a love story but it involves a Princess giving an apple to a Princely looking man on a horse. They appear to be in an orchard and in the background are the onion shaped domes of a church or a palace.
    The picture is very detailed and elaborate. Even the horse has an interested expression.
    There is no stamp on the back but within the painting are the words: ABt. Posmsi AnexnhePetnbobaa 2005.
