The picturesque miniatures of the Kholui school are known around the world. Kholuis caskets are created by masters manually, painted with thin squirrel tassels, using golden paint and paints created according to an old recipe. The mineral dye is mixed with egg yolk, water and vinegar, getting bright, saturated colors.
Talented Dobrin Yevgeniy of Kholui is the artist who painted this beautiful lacquer composition. Dobrin is a well-known artist whose style is enhanced by the ultra-thin brushwork he manages to render. There are a few artists who have the ability to make the smallest strokes of paint come to life, and he is in this handful of famous Kholui names.
The box "Snegurochka. Spring meeting" is made in the classic technique of elegant style of lacquer miniature Holui.  The master tried to make the picture as expressive and colorful as possible.  The figures and faces of the heroes are absolutely diverse with many small details.  Even the details of animals , architecture and landscape are made with the finest painting.  The author widely uses gold leaf, and in items of clothing, houses, as well as ornaments around the picture and on the sides of the box .
Detailed and finely drawn ornament adorns and emphasizes the miniature, giving the composition completeness.
At the bottom of the picture, as well as inside the box, the author signed the name of the style, year of manufacture, the name of the fairy tale and his name.  The lid opens left.
At the final stage, the box is varnished, which is leveled and polished until it shines with a mirror shine.  In the box you can store jewelry and memorabilia.
