Estate Sale Find. This Set of 5 Nesting Dolls from Russia is in good pre-owned condition, I did not notice any flaws. Beautifully hand painted with lots of attention to detail.  Stamped (Made in Russia), dated (1996) and signed/initialed by artist. I tried to find similar ones online but was not able to. Therefore I can only guess that they represent a farmer holding a pumpkin along with his wife and 3 daughters.  Or maybe it is a Russian Fairy Tale? The Matryoshka Dolls range from almost 4 1/2 inches to not even an inch and weigh 3 ounces. Make sure to check out my other listings, I found some more decorative Russian collectors items and will gladly combine shipping.
