Russian religious Icon Christian Jesus Christ on cross Orthodox

Oh this is so beautiful as a religious object or just as an admirer of skilled metal work. It measures 9 x 5 inches. (CLICK ON PHOTOS TO ENLARGE THEM TO SEE WAY BETTER)
I spent a month contacting linguists about the language on this metal icon. Finally, the language, is not Russian but probably Old Church Slavonic. Here is the correspondence and translation on the this icon. I know an elderly man from Kodiak Island, Alaska who recalls hearing/singing some of this language, apparently memorized as part of worship in the Greek Orthodox church on Kodiak Island where he grew up in. Here are the two pieces of correspondence he received from Russian Orthodox priests on Kodiak Island, Alaska:
Our friend from the Kodiak seminary got back to me yesterday with some info about the Russian icon.  He identified the writing as Slavonic but could only read a few words... so he asked another friend and here is his response and translation of the prayer.
Here is the translation from another priest:
“Yes, this is an Exapostylary of Oktoih on Wednesday and Friday devoted to the Life-giving Cross: Cross is a guardian of all the universe, cross is a beauty of the Church: cross is kings power, cross is affirmation of faithful people, cross is angels glory, and demons plague.”
