Ethiopian & Eritrean 2 piece set common in most region. Typically Ethiopian dresses are white with colorful borders and embroidery. This dress is made from hand-spun cotton, and detailed hand embroidery. The detailed intricate embroidery gives it the regal look.
2 piece Ethiopian traditional dress from norther part comes with a shawl- Ivory- off-white  embroidered in Orange, Blue, and Green that goes well with the main color. Simple and elegant very traditional.

Since this dress was hand-woven by local people and hand embroidered it is normal to see some imperfection,
but I did not see any in this dress as you see in the picture.
