VINTAGE RUSSIAN FEDOSKINO LACQUERED BOX W/ IMAGE OF TSAR NICHOLAS II SIGNED

Description

A very finely painted Russian Fedoskino lacquered box featuring the image of Tsar Nicholas II in full royal dress with crown, orb, and scepter. The image has wonderful detail using metallic and iridescent paints. The box measures approximately 6" by 4.25" by 2" high. No condition issues were observed. The hinge is in good working order. The box is signed on the lower right of the image in Cyrillic letters (M. Kabashova) and dated on the lower left what appears to be 1996. Made in Russia paper label on the bottom.
