Vintage Russian Lacquer Box of an Impressionistic Landscape with Lake Or River Signed. Very lovely, pastoral scene featuring a remote lake or river with a mature tree with all its foliage. Impressionistic images of birds are in the sky.
5 1/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches by 1 3/4 inches high
The box shows signs of handling. The image on the lid has some surface and edge scratching. The box exterior has heavier scratching and marks. One corner near lid hardware is a small chip. At the base edge a lacquer chip - very small. Underside has heavier scratching and wear.
