VTG RUSSIAN LAQUERED DECOUPAGE / HAND PAINTED "EGG SHAPED TRINKET BOX~VERY NICE

Description

This listing is for (1) VINTAGE Lacquered box that was from Russia. I have had it since the early 90's when a pilot friend of mine started flying there and brought it back for me.
It is egg shaped and the approximate measurements are 4 1/2" LONG X 3 1/4" WIDE X 2 1/2" HIGH.
The top appears to be decoupaged with a very decorative floral print in dark green, black, white, gold, blue, and coral/pink tones which has then been lacquered to a high gloss. The bottom is done in black and has a hand painted design in on the edge where it opens. It also has been lacquered to a high gloss.
In the spirit of full disclosure, when the "egg" is opened there are a couple of places on the "inner" bottom and top edges of the opening where the egg where the 2 sides connect that have suffered minor paint loss but none of that shows when the egg is closed as you can see in my pictures. I just wanted you to be aware of it before purchasing and I have priced it accordingly.
We are preparing to downsize to a much smaller house so I am listing it for sale in hopes someone else can appreciate its beauty.
